Interventional Radiology Locums Opportunity - Lansing, MIPosition Overview

• Specialty: Interventional Radiology

• Team Structure: 3 Interventional Radiologists and 2 APPs
• Patient Population: Primarily Adult (Frequent Geriatric Patients)

Availability RequirementsSchedule

• Full-time coverage
• Day shift schedule
• Average of 8 cases per day

Call Coverage

• Q3 Call Schedule
  • Every third weekday
  • Every third weekend
• Call Ratio: 1:3

Travel Considerations

• Local providers strongly preferred
• Travel providers will be considered if able to provide 2+ weeks of coverage per month (3+ weeks preferred)

License & Certification RequirementsRequired

• Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
• Active Michigan Medical License
  • IMLC/Compact Licenses not accepted
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification

Practice Details

• Hospital-based Interventional Radiology service
• Level I Trauma Center
• Supported by:
  • Department Manager
  • 2 Advanced Practice Providers
  • 3 Physician IR Team
• Average volume: 8 procedures/cases per day

Required Procedures

• Angioplasty
• Stent Placement
• Embolization
• Needle Biopsy
• Thrombolysis
• Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)

Additional Preferred Experience

• Orthopedic procedures
• Gynecologic procedures
• Urologic procedures
