Job Description for Senior Director of Sales & Market Development, Commercial Vehicle Senior Director of Sales & Market Development, Commercial Vehicle SHAPE THE FUTURE OF MOBILITY FROM DAY ONE. This position is part of our Connected Services segment and is located in Allen Park, Michigan. Summary: The Senior Director of Sales & Market Development, Commercial Vehicle, is responsible for identifying opportunities, developing customer relationships, and driving them to completed commercial agreements. This includes developing and implementing sales and market strategies targeting fleet software providers and OEM customers. This position will report to the Vice President and General Manager of the business. This position will require deep experience in the commercial fleet industry, success in new business development, and forming strategic partnerships. Responsibilities and Duties: Develop and execute plans and strategies for achieving the company's sales goals Creatively work with customers to identify their needs and how Aptiv solution can meet their needs Provide feedback to product management to ensure customer pain points are addressed in use cases and product development Work closely with marketing to develop go-to-market plan, sales materials and establish successful support, channel and partner programs Define sales processes, including commercial pilots, that--drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required Build and manage the information and data related to customer and prospect interactions Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions Create and execute required commercial agreement documentation Travel for in-person meetings and marketing events with customers and partners to develop key relationships Required Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, or finance.
