Our mission is to deliver cost effective and valued procurement services through strategic, diverse, and sustainable business solutions. Our work requires close integration with all lines of business, finance, and our suppliers. The Procurement Excellence Center (PEC) is a strategic function dedicated to driving procurement transformation, operational efficiency, and value creation across the organization. Within the Procurement organization, the PEC establishes best practices, standardizes processes, and leverages advanced analytics and market intelligence to enable data-driven decision-making. The PEC collaborates with all Procurement teams to enhance capabilities, improve performance, and optimize costs. Key focus areas include market intelligence and analytics, digital procurement transformation, risk management, supplier relationship management, governance, and capability development. Position Summary Conducts research, data analysis, forecasting and reporting in support of business decision making, strategy and operations. Participates in business process improvement, quality control and other initiatives. Develops, manages and coordinates performance and quality assessment, business process re-engineering, change management, communication and training. PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.? This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. Pay Range display: Bay Area – $102,000 to $139,000 Reporting Relationship Senior Sourcing Analyst will report to the Procurement Analytics Manager. Job Responsibilities Clearly articulates recommendations and findings in both written and oral communications both internally and externally and to functional management Develops new or revises existing data analysis to predict business outcomes selecting from various complex variables Examines alternate solutions to a problem, effectively troubleshoots various issues and analysis, and provides findings and recommendations for internal clients and external stakeholders Performs analysis, benchmarking studies, spend analysis, and needs assessment in support of the development of portfolio and category strategies Leads process in requirement gathering, creation, implementation, and management of dashboards driving effective and clear visual management Serves as a liaison between Procurement and other departments (finance, business units) in support of Procurement analysis, KPIs, and data requests. Technical Skills – Advanced MS Excel, MS Access, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, PowerApps, SharePoint Online, SQL Background Qualifications Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Sociology, Policy, Engineering, Physics or other related fields or equivalent work experience Requires a minimum of four years of job-related experience Desired Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Public Policy, Sociology, Engineering, Physics or other related fields or equivalent work experience Technical Skills – Advanced MS Excel, MS Access, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, PowerApps, SharePoint Online, SQL Experience with large data sets Six years of job-related experience Experience in Procurement and Sourcing, 3-4 yrs CPSM Certified LSS Certified
