Job Description Job Description Accounts Payable Specialist - Contract-to-Hire (3-6 Months) Location: Saline, MI Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Work Arrangement: Hybrid after training Pay Rate: $24-$26 per hour Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (Conversion expected in 3-6 months) Supported By: LHH Recruitment Solutions About the Opportunity LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a client in Saline, MI seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing accounting team. This role begins as a contract assignment with the intention to convert to direct hire within 3-6 months . The company offers a structured schedule, positive team environment, and hybrid flexibility after completion of initial onsite training. Key Responsibilities Monitor and manage the accounts payable inbox , reviewing all incoming invoices and related documents Investigate discrepancies or missing information to ensure invoice accuracy Perform accurate data entry of invoices and ensure timely processing for payment Audit expense submissions from employees and contractors for compliance and accuracy Maintain and update vendor records within the ERP system , ensuring accuracy and completeness Support month-end close by assisting with accrual-related tasks Qualifications Prior accounts payable experience required Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication skills for vendor and internal team interactions Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of transactions Experience with ERP systems preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) Compensation & Work Environment Pay: $24-$26/hr Hours: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Work Model: Hybrid after training Conversion Timeline: 3-6 months Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour Search managed by: Tracey Callahan Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
