This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Personnel Management Coordinate with Project Managers on staffing, onboarding, and staffing costs Monitor employee utilization, workload allocation, and job estimates Assist with resource planning and forecasting aligned to project timelines Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with staffing policies and procedures Support employee development and training initiatives Financial Management Track and analyze project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide regular reporting Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies Support financial planning and budgeting processes Vendor Management Manage vendor relationships and contracts Evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to agreements Coordinate procurement processes and assist with contract negotiations Identify and assess potential vendors for project suitability Analytics & Reporting Develop and maintain resource management dashboards and reports Provide data-driven insights and recommendations Monitor KPIs related to utilization and efficiency Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis for senior management Process Improvement Review and improve resource management processes and procedures Implement best practices for resource allocation and optimization Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows Required Experience: BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field Proven experience in resource management within a project-based environment Strong financial analysis and budget management experience Knowledge of vendor management and procurement practices Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively Required Skills: Resource and financial management analysis Advanced Excel and data analytics (PowerBI, SharePoint) Vendor and procurement coordination Preferred Skills: KPI dashboard development Process optimization and workflow improvement Cross-functional stakeholder collaboration Strong written and verbal communication Additional Skills from Original Description: Employee utilization analysis Forecasting and staffing coordination Budget tracking and cost control Vendor performance evaluation Ad-hoc executive reporting Additional Role Details: Schedule: Monday–Friday, core business hours Local candidates only (Hybrid role) Travel reimbursement possible with prior manager approval (excluding home-to-work travel) Candidate must provide personal or vendor-supplied laptop until company equipment is available Benefits: Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401k Retirement Fund About the Client: Leading natural gas and electric energy company serving millions of customers across the United States.
