Administrative Assistant - Brighton, MI.
Long-term Contract position - possible contract-to-direct hire
*Monday-Friday position onsite in Brighton (Core hours 9:00am-5:00pm)

The successful Administrative Assistant is an energetic professional who is experienced in handling a wide range of office support activities for the efficient operation of the company. The Administrative Assistant is well organized, flexible, and enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:

  • Answer, screen, and transfer inbound phone calls
  • Receive and direct visitors and clients
  • General clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, fax, and mailing
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
  • Retrieve documents from filing system
  • Handle requests for information and data
  • Resolve administrative problems and inquiries
  • Prepare written responses to routine inquiries
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members
  • Prepare agendas for meetings and prepare schedules
  • Record, compile, transcribe, and distribute minutes of meetings
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and correspondence
  • Maintain office supply inventories
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Maintain contact lists

    Qualifications of the Administrative Assistant:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 2+ years of proven administrative assistant experience
    • Computer skills
    • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
    • Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment
    • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping
    • Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management
    • QuickBooks experience - preferred
