  • 10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with the interaction between HR and IT (The perfect candidate may have worked as or reported directly to a CHRO or worked in a SaaS company that provides HR or collaboration solutions.)
  • Broad and varied experience with multiple aspects of HR, including shared services, HR technology, talent management, succession planning, recruiting, performance management, benefits, compensation, payroll and analytics
  • Experience speaking in large and high visibility forums; proven experience influencing executives; ability to present to C-suite executives
  • Excellent written, verbal and group facilitation skills
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Deep understanding of the value of HR and workforce solutions in business and the ability to articulate this in sales situations at the highest levels
  • Proven ability to influence C-level executives with deep relationships and experience
  • Established network in the space
  • Proven ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and demonstrated initiative in taking ownership for all assigned responsibilities, deliverables and results
  • Demonstrated understanding of the concepts of and proven experience in solution selling Job Summary The Vice President of Product Marketing is at the center of defining and executing our market strategy and product positioning to shape the growth of Sift. --This leader provides expertise to Sift's prospects and customers in support of Sift's SaaS Software License revenue and customer success (measured by business outcomes delivered to customers) focusing on our enterprise team member directory solution across all industries. The Vice President of Product Marketing provides deep domain knowledge to help develop compelling solutions, sales plays, and sales collateral, tools and demos to target specific customer needs. The Vice President of Product Marketing uncovers the strategic objectives and business opportunities and understands the key metrics driving the solution evaluation. This person develops trusted advisor status with customers' executive ranks and executes strategy councils and advisory boards. Responsibilities
    • Leverage significant industry and domain expertise to drive strategic decision-making in go-to-market efforts, and understand industry trends and direction related to the evolving workforce and workplace in collaboration and team member engagement
    • Take a leadership role in large sales opportunities - designing, orchestrating and delivering high level "big picture" presentations as required
    • Serve as a Sift evangelist by creating original thought leadership, articles and blogs about trends and best practices, including articles and blogs that align with the messaging, and establish or cement Sift's position in the marketplace
    • Provide deep analysis of the target personas in both HR and IT to determine the best solutions and conversations to start talking to customers about their needs, and work alongside sales teams to help develop a strategy to win
    • Segment and target the customer base based on industry, size and probability to buy, and gain trusted advisor status with customers and prospects by understanding their business and developing strategies with them to gain tangible benefits to the business using Sift's solution
    • Engage with customer's leadership (C-level, CHRO, chief people officers, CIO, HR directors, etc.) within prospect organizations, establishing a positive customer relationship
    • Execute sales plays by training sales teams to better understand industry trends and the application of those trends to our prospective customers in their digital journey
    • Work with Sift's marketing team to build coherent, consistent, aligned sales content and ROI models to support account executives when engaging with customers
    • Stay current and document industry requirements, standards, trends, drivers and challenges
    • Align with development and product management to ensure the product road map aligns with market direction
    • Interact with channel and alliance partners around solution positioning and delivery of services
    • Support trade show and association speaking and support. Facilitate conversations and participate in panels and industry events.
