Job Description Aramark Facilities Management is hiring a
Journeyman Plumber to support operations at the General Motors
Technical Center, one of the most advanced automotive research and
engineering campuses in the world. This is a stable, long-term
opportunity for a licensed plumber who takes pride in
craftsmanship, safety, and working in a professional, industrial
facilities environment. An active State of Michigan Journeyman
Plumber license or card is required for this role. Job
Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair
plumbing and piping systems in a large-scale industrial facility
Work with water, drainage, steam, heating, cooling, and industrial
process piping systems Lay out, fabricate, assemble, and install
pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures Read and interpret
blueprints, drawings, and specifications Test piping systems for
leaks and proper operation Install and repair plumbing fixtures
including sinks, toilets, water heaters, and related equipment
Perform routine plumbing and pipefitting work independently Use a
computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to document work
Support fabrication shop and service departments as needed Work
safely at heights and in confined spaces when required Mentor
apprentices and support team members Follow all Aramark and GM
Technical Center safety and housekeeping standards At Aramark,

may be assigned without formal notice. Qualifications Active State
of Michigan Journeyman Plumber license or Journeyman card 7 years
of commercial or industrial plumbing experience Strong knowledge of
plumbing codes and safe work practices Ability to read and
interpret drawings and specifications Ability to work independently
or as part of a skilled trades team High school diploma or
equivalent Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical trade
work This role may have physical demands including, but not limited
to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and
standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of
