What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, including access control and identification verification at a chemical and/or petrochemical location. - Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per post orders. - Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process areas as permitted, staging areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions, with working environments and conditions varying by location. - Monitor and operate security-related systems such as CCTV, access control, and communications equipment, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services as required. - Support site operations by checking deliveries and/or contractor activity against posted requirements, directing traffic and visitor flow, and completing accurate reports and logs. Minimum Requirements: - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. - A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
