Early Head Start Teacher

To plan and implement a program of educational activities for
infants and toddlers that encourages age appropriate growth and
development in a variety of areas.
Previous professional experience working with infants and
Ability to develop and implement a classroom curriculum that
encourages academic, social, emotional, and physical development of
infants and toddlers.
Maintains compliance with day-care licensing and HHS
Knowledge of or ability to learn to conduct developmental
screenings and assessments of children.
Working knowledge of child development, age appropriate behaviors,
common childhood behavior problems and appropriate
Evaluate the accomplishments of the children on a regular basis and
reports progress to parents/guardians.
Promote parent-child bonding and nurtures parent-child
relationships. Assist in facilitating parent education workshops as

administering developmental assessments, coordinating family
services, and designing and implementing daily programming for the
