Job Description:
DESCRIPTION OF BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES Primary job
function is the provision of speech-language therapy treatment to
children. Position requires independent clinical judgment,
well-developed communication skills, and the ability to work with a
variety of children and families. ESSENTIAL/TYPICAL DUTIES ·
Provides therapy services including assessments, developing
treatment plans, and delivering individual and group therapy. ·
Completes accurate therapy documentation and entries in company
systems. · Participates in meetings with families and/or school
special Ed team members on the appropriate implementation of
educational programs; collaborates and coordinates speech-language
therapy goals with the educational program. · Collaborates with
medical professionals, agencies and/or educators relative to the
treatment of patients. · Provide services related to expertise:
mentoring, supervising, collaboration, presentations and workshops,
etc. · Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements · Education:
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with
coursework in speech-language pathology · Current certification
through the American Speech-Hearing Association · Current licensure
through the State of Michigan · No unacceptable violations found
through legal background check process.
