Job Description:
We have an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing
transportation group in the Southeast Michigan area. There is a
strong pipeline of projects to work on, and potential for future
growth. The primary focus will be on design, and also working with
agencies, clients, and other group members. Main Duties:
Preparation of arterial, freeway, intersection, and interchange
design plans. Development of 3D models and cross sections. Working
with representatives of DOT, County and local clients. Overseeing
the work of engineers and other support personnel assigned to the
project. Assisting with technical proposal input. Working and
coordinating with other work functions including maintenance of
traffic, permanent signing, pavement marking, lighting and
hydraulics. Qualifications: 5 to 10 years of transportation / road
design experience Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering MICHIGAN
Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain Experience
with CAD and 3D design software - Microstation and GeoPak preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
