the customer experience. The Stellantis Software Organization (SWX)
was created to build the most captivating experiences in the latest
frontier of automotive technology.
As a Head of Semiconductor Engineering team at SWX, you will be
responsible for defining the governance process that will ensure
the integration of critical semiconductors used on our STLA Brain
platform, working in close collaboration with our silicon vendors
and our internal engineering teams. This role will design and
select the solutions that will enhance the capabilities of our new
Hardware Platform of High Performance Computers (HPC's), Zonal
Computer Units (Zonal ECU's) that will cover almost 80% of the
Stellantis 14 brands portfolio. Along with the team you will lead
and build, you will drive key decisions on MCU, MPU and SoC
strategic roadmap definition. The key deliverable is to launch a
world leading hardware platform product that exceeds all current
and future technology challenges in the drive to achieve truly
software defined vehicle.
We are looking for an accomplished technology veteran and product
innovation leader with a background in complex electronic hardware
design able to deliver state-of-the-art hardware platforms that
will allow hardware evolution decouple from software with an Agile
approach. The position's responsibilities include personnel
management, multi-million dollar program development, internal
reporting, network management, support and mentorship of
engineering team in engineering related matters, and quality
control of automotive grade HW and SW product deliverables.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
Define and support the integration of the main semiconductors used
in our HPC's and Zonal ECU's
Guide hardware engineering teams in defining, designing, and
integrating our semiconductor's strategy
Establish semiconductor design capabilities to enhance our control
and ownership of HW development
Develop outstanding strategic relationships with product peers and
engineering, research, business, design, and functional domain
teams to design and manage semiconductor strategy
Lead key Semiconductor governance decisions in collaboration with
internal stakeholders to optimize key business goals and enhance
our control over critical EE components
Relentlessly drive to early life cycle delivery through an agile
approach
Establish and conduct collaboration opportunities with
semiconductor design external partners
Facilitate research, design, development, and engineering skill
development for the team
Supervision of engineers, contractors, interns and external
partners in the team
Leading organization of approximately 35 people worldwide
Responsible for the recruitment of personnel
Develop a culture of collaboration, diversity and inclusion
Willing to take action and drive results
