Stellantis' Software Organization (SWX) was created to build the most captivating experiences in the latest frontier of automotive technology.Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Lead the core requirements for key components also collecting requirements from other stakeholders (e.g. domain team, architecture tea, SW teams, vehicle validation, etc.)
  • Manage hardware team in accordance with organization priorities and guiding values
  • Supervise the hardware proposed by the supplier to ensure to meet Stellantis requirements
  • Work with project management team to maintain scheduling and budgeting of development projects
  • Analyze supplier technical proposals and provide feedback to management about the related quote
  • Assist with setting architectural design direction enabling scalability, optimization of component design reapplication, maximize re-use and cost optimization
  • Maintain the Software organization future component roadmap
  • Lead and approve the development plan proposed by the supplier to test the component
  • Communicate transfer high performance computer and zonal controller knowledge to the vehicle application implementation team
  • Responsible for personnel management tasks including hiring, goal planning, progress tracking, mentoring, team status reporting, etc.
  • Lead / update internal company processes related to componentCritical Character Traits to Ensure Success:

    • Respect and understanding of the customer/supplier relationship while embracing partnership
    • Ability to present concepts/strategies/project status to large groups
      Basic Qualifications:
      • Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science
      • 10+ years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience
      • DFSS certification
      • Manage Tier 1 & 2 supplier for component development and delivery of production validated components on time
      • Experience with managing a project from the scratch
      • Strong leadership experience in developing complex hardware technologies compatible with automotive standard requirements
      • Strong interpersonal communication, team/leadership skills/experience
      • Experience in Agile developmentPreferred Qualifications:
        • Profound knowledge of domain ECUs for automated driving, infotainment, propulsion, etc.
        • 8+ years of experience in managing the advanced project development
        • Deep expertise in creating safe and efficient system architectures and complex hardware/software systems including knowledge of testing
        • Manage several projects start through completion
        • Excellent conflict resolution skills
        • Experience in component and system integration, testing and verification on system and vehicle level
        • Strong knowledge of applicable safety standards including ISO 26262, Euro NCAP, and other regulations, industry benchmarks and customer requirements
