Job Description:
AUTOMATION CONTROLS ENGINEER JOB PURPOSE: Nikon Metrology is
seeking a highly motivated Automation Controls Engineer to oversee
and support the functions for advancing and implementing new

define innovation. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Drive continuous
improvement in key automation processes. Leverage lean principles
to drive the design and execution of processes and equipment layout
to improve overall equipment effectiveness.Build organizational
competency in automation, and ensure step-level changes towards
delivering overall business strategy. ANCILLARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop strong relationships with key strategic partners and
customers across all business units. Mult be able to deal with
multiple priorities while working on simultaneous projects. Manage
working with the different teams i various departments
simultaneously. Excellent communication skills.QUALIFICATIONS:
ESSENTIAL:3+ years' experience working with automation. Bachelor's
degree in Engineering-Automation, Process Control, Electrical,
Mechanical or Computer Science.High level of hands-on engineering
background in advanced automation and technology with project
management skills. Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70eExperience with
robotic programming software and hardware.Knowledge of hardware and
software for PLC, OPC, HMI/SCADA. Electrical controls knowledge -
Various Motor types, MCC and PDP panels, frequency drivers,
breakders, wiring, Panel components, PLC Controls etc. DESIRABLE:
Programming Languages - C/C++,Python, Java, HTML Knowledge of,
stamping, welding and product assembly processes. Metrology
acquisition and point cloud analysis softwares FUNCTIONAL
COMPETENCIES:Ability to design, develop and improve processes in
automation. Able to interact effectively across all teams to get
necessary information and support to complete projects.Ability to
learn LR Measure. Deliver exceptional customer service. Strong time
management, organization, and prioritizing skills. Excellent verbal
and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office.
WORKING ENVIORNMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS40% travel domestic and
international. Occasional weekend and evening work, as needed.
