Engineer - Thermoplastic Responsibilities Leading and taking
responsibility, processing, advising and supporting in dynamically
acting teams of product pre-development projects with the aim to
develop new products, support production processes. The focus is on
products made from thermoplastic materials. Contribute own
expertise especially for handling with products made from
thermoplastic materials. Tasks starting from material selection to
functional testing. Develop plastic products, support in processing
and production. Lead, conduct, take responsibility for, but also
contribute to and support the implementation of workshops (globally
Freudenberg-wide) with the aim of further developing product
development, process development, test capabilities, analysis
methods and knowledge management. Systematic and regular
preparation of information relevant to decision-making in the form
of written and oral reports for the work team, decision-makers and
management. Support/guide Sales and Purchasing on technically
relevant tasks, especially for plastic made products. Support Sales
and Application Engineers at customer visits. Planning,
coordination and conducting of customer visits. Assumption of
administrative tasks required for the smooth running of the task in
the office environment. Contact to Management T&I, FST, FTI,
F&Co., FPM mostly for reporting and alignment FST Workshops:
organize, plan, conduct, evaluate and report with the goal to
develop plastic products within our portfolio Qualifications B.S.
in Engineering (Mechanical, Plastics Materials, Manufacturing or
equivalent) Business level English skills both written and verbal
Strong analytical structured problem solving skills Ability to
travel both domestically in the US and internationally
