Global Mission The Battery Cell Process Raw Material Expert, under the authority of the PCE HVBC Cost Manager is accountable for technical, industrial and economical knowledge of Raw Materials used for Battery Cell production : extraction (mining), refining, transportation to Cell manufacturer. More in general, the incumbant is accountable on Tiers 2 Parts (electronics, magnetics) used by BEVs Tier 1 Suppliers for the assembly of their parts. Interfaces With Tier 2 Suppliers for electronic and magnetic parts technical & economical knowledgeWith Raw Materials Supplier for technical & economical knowledge on mining & refiningWith Tier 1 Suppliers for technical negotiationWith Engineering (Chief Engineer) for support on cost evaluations and Design to CostWith Purchasing (PPM and Buyer) for support on technical negotiation with Suppliers during Sourcing and Change Management processesWith GWP Team for support on PBD analysis / calculationWith Finance for support to Raw Material indexation (Stellantis Material cost Data Base) Responsibilities Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge on Raw Materials mining, refining & transportation and relative cost, also through continuous contacts / visits with Stakeholders (Miners, Precursors, Cell SuppliersMaintain state-of-the-art technical and economical knowledge on electronic and magnetic procured parts for BEV Tier 1, again with continuous contacts with external Stakeholders (Magnets Suppliers, ...Deep knowledge on main evolutions and technologies about Cell raw materials (Li, graphite, ...) and procured parts (SiC, magnets, ...Organize a structured Data Base of procured parts (technical and economical attributesRelease raw material & procured parts cost in support to Should Cost evaluation of Tier 1 parts together with GWP impact through PBD (Price Break Down) analysis and calculatioOperate in tight conjunction with Engineering, Project and Purchasing to reach a competitive process cost in compliance with all technical, time and quality requirementsPresent his activity outcomes to Stellantis Management EOE/Disability/Veteran PDN-99253cf9-9223-4b90-b095-49cb492d304a
