The selected candidate will conduct reviews of functional systems (simulation and testing), cooling systems status with program chiefs, development test planning with lab engineers, and annual hot trip execution for assigned programs. The Engineer will also lead the communications and reporting of issues which include status updates and driving issue resolution! The Thermal Performance Engineer will be responsible for proactive planning and tracking of vehicle validation, active support of aero/thermal attributes, and DVP&R test and reporting! The engineer will occasionally be required to interact with members of the exterior styling studio.Required Skills:Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited universityWe are looking 3+ years of relevant engineering experienceChauffeur's License or willingness and ability to get oneOutstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills:Experience with thermal development, HVAC, or cooling systemsExperience with data acquisition systemsExperience with drive cell / wind tunnel testingExperience working with and directing bargaining unit mechanicsAbility to work with cross functional teamsProven ability to lead teamsClass A Commercial Driver LicenseAlways eager to learn and improve.Strong interpersonal and writing skills.Job Programmer/AnalystSchedule Full-timePrimary Location US-MI-DetroitOrganization ERD PPL US
