Looking to work for a leading system integrator offering unique solutions to multiple industries?Open to learning new things & developing high-performance products?Do you want to be at the forefront of engineering in a business always looking for ways to improve its products & offering to customers?We're looking for experienced Controls Engineers who enjoy working in a team to work on custom assembly projects from concept to comissioning.What you'll do:*Key Responsibilities:*Controls System Design:* Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to design and develop control systems for various products and industrial processes.* Design control architectures, including selection and integration of sensors, actuators, PLCs, and other hardware components.* Develop and implement control algorithms to achieve desired system performance, accuracy, and reliability.Programming and Implementation:* Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other control devices to execute desired control strategies.* Troubleshoot and debug control software to ensure smooth system operation.Integration and Testing:* Integrate control systems with mechanical components, electrical systems, and software applications.* Conduct thorough testing and validation of control systems, including simulation and real-world testing, to ensure proper functionality and safety.Documentation and Reporting:* Create detailed documentation, including control system specifications, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.* Generate technical reports summarizing control system designs, testing outcomes, and recommendations.*Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field is preferred.* 2+ years of experience in controls engineering, automation, or a related field.* Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text) and HMI/SCADA systems.* Familiarity with hardware components such as sensors, actuators, motor drives, and industrial robots.* Ability to troubleshoot complex control system issues and implement effective solutions.* Excellent communication skills for collaboration and technical reporting.* Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to control systems and industrial automation.Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shiftWork Location: In personby Jobble
