Duties of this position vary from hand fabrication of several different kinds of Natural Stone, Engineered Stone, Solid Surface Material and Laminate to CNC Operation/Maintenance with the opportunity to progress to CNC programming and other technical positions. Paid Weekly, Rare weekends, advancement opportunity! $29,000 - $43,000 per year Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: Fabricate Natural Stone, Solid surface, Quartz, Dekton and Laminate Operate CNC machines Read shop drawings Add and subtract accurately Measure and cut within 1/32 tolerance Work to proper safety standards Use hand tools, Grinders, Saws, Routers, Sanders Attach and install top mount and undermount sinks Drill holes for fixtures as needed Load/unload slabs of stone and finished countertops with proper safety equipment Operate overhead crane, manzelli crane, forklift Qualifications Physical Requirements: Ability to handle heavy materials – lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing 100 pounds Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day Qualifications and Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Prior experience in fabricating countertops or experience using similar tools, measuring, and cutting accurately preferred CNC or machining experience preferred CNC operating experience preferred CNC programming experience preferred CAD experience preferred Must be a team player with the ability to focus on client fulfillment Self-directed worker capable of staying on task with minimal supervision Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills If an offer of employment is extended, it will be conditional upon successful clearance of a background check, and drug screen for illegal substances.
