Job Description Job Description Emerald Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Repair Technician to join its Saline Lectronics team! Repair Technician performs a wide range of repair tasks to printed circuit boards in a manufacturing environment. Including perform repair, rework, assembly, and testing of printed circuit boards (PCBs). Depending on level, technicians may be responsible for basic soldering tasks, advanced troubleshooting, training, or procedure development. Responsibilities of the Repair Technician: Perform repair and rework processes to printed circuit boards. Daily activities may include PCB stuffing, soldering of wires, removal and replacement of thru-hole, ball grid array, and SMT components, mechanical assembly, go no-go testing. Troubleshooting, machine set up, procedure development, training, and in line inspection of work performed. Performs all other duties as assigned and adheres to all company policies and procedures. Experience with PCB assemblies, soldering, and blueprint reading. Able to read and follow customer and company assembly documentation. Skilled in soldering and using inspection tools for circuit assembly repairs. Excellent hand–eye coordination for precise work on small components. Prior PCB/electronic assembly experience and solid knowledge of IPC standards. Ability to test, troubleshoot, and repair PCBs to IPC standards.
