Job Description:
Group Practice Director - Internal Medicine Responsible for
operationalizing programs, business plans and initiatives for the
Internal Medicine Department; responsible for developing,
implementing, and evaluating business plans, capital planning,
resource planning, and team structure to optimize the financial,
programmatic, and operational excellence of the services provided;
keep abreast of market dynamics, specialty and/or primary care
product development from national to local trends in order to lead
improvement plans from ideation to implementation based on those
learnings; manage daily operations of workgroups including patient
care flow, business office functions, and staffing; provide
oversight and management for financial lines for scope of business
including clinical, research, teaching and endowments; provide
support to staff, advanced practice providers, and senior staff
engagements; ensure that plans and processes are in place to
improve engagement and professional development for all staff as
indicated by performance metrics; provide oversight and process
improvements of the patient care experience via optimal utilization
of people, processes and technology to exceed patient expectations;
utilize Healthcare Administration activities, Managed Care
Administration, Regulatory Management, Quality Improvement
initiatives, Project Development processes, Operational Management
techniques, Vision Cultivation procedures, Human Resources
management techniques, Partnership Development and Financial Budget
Development to perform duties; work to improve the patient
experience from initial point of contact to completion of service;
contribute to projects and initiatives at a Group or System level,
beyond immediate departmental needs; participate in at least one
professional association and/or system-wide committee; and must
possess valid State of Michigan Nursing License. Location--: 2799

Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or in a related field
of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree); Training: None
Experience: Three (3) years in the position above, as a Director of
Healthy Aging, as a Director of Outpatient and Allied Health
Services, as an Interim Chief Nursing Officer, as a Program Manager
for Complex Continuing Care, as a Director of Complex Continuing
Care, or in a related occupation; Will also accept any suitable
combination of education, training and/or experience. "DNS"--
