We need you to help us reach our goal.What you'll do: Lead/manage small DevOps team (2-3)Work with Engineering teams to plan, deploy and maintain business applications with a focus on optimizing the AWS environment for availability, performance, cost, automation and time to implementation.Automate the build and management of cloud infrastructure using AWS native tools, open-source tools, and third-party products.Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple environments.Create and enforce operational policies and standard operating procedures.Provide input on design, implementation, operations, user guides, and training materials for the AWS environment.Develop instrumentation to monitor, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the health of software servicesEnsure data storage and access are in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.Stay current with new technology options and vendor products, evaluating which ones would be a good fit for the companyWhat you bring:6 to 10 years of extensive experience architecting and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms with strong knowledge of infrastructure components and best.Experience leading small DevOps teams (2-3)Solid understanding of AWS services: EC2, ECS, ELB/ALB, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudTrail, Config, CloudWatch, Lambda, Route53, SES, SNS, etc.Strong knowledge of AWS security concepts across infrastructure and applications including encryption techniques along with an understanding of AWS VPC, IAM, KMS, role-based access controls, network ACLs, and Security GroupsPrior experience in build automation, continuous Integration, version control and other related technologies (Git, Bamboo, Jenkins or AWS Code Pipeline).3 to 5 years of experience building and maintaining production systems in AWS, 2 years of experience with Serverless architectures3 to 5 years of experience within Linux systems administration, containerized systems (Docker, ECS, etc.)Proficient in scripting language (Bash, Perl, etc.)Networking and core Internet Protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS and routing in cloud environmentsAWS Certifications - DevOps Engineer (Professional), Solutions Architect (Associates), etc.Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or mathematicsExperience with restricted environments, e.g. PCI, HIPAA, SOX is a plusExperience working in an Agile/Kanban environment is a plusWhat we bring:We offer an intellectual, casual, and collegial work environment with a great opportunity for growth and long-term potential.
