Project Manager - Brighton, MI Pay Band B MRP 8 The role of the Project Manager is to lead cross functional initiatives within Lake Trust to meet business objectives. The Project Manager will lead the project teams through planning, execution and completion of projects according to an approved project charter. This includes obtaining alignment with the sponsor on the project's objectives and driving execution and delivery throughout its life cycle. The project manager will establish clear project roles and communication plans, and manage the effort of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. What You'll Do Manage multiple projects of varying scope and complexity, concurrently Lead the planning and definition of project scope, goals and deliverables Collaborate with team to define project tasks and resource requirements Develop and manage project plans (schedule, risks, issues, resources, budget, scope change, communication). Track project deliverables using appropriate ePMO tools, processes and templates Provide direction and support to project team Coordinate resources, monitor progress and intervene as necessary to ensure that quality, schedule and scope requirements are met. Manage risks and escalate issues as appropriate. Builds and executes effective communication plans to ensure stakeholders are aware, involved and engaged as appropriate. Manage project documentation organization and completeness. Facilitates close out of project and lessons learned. Builds relationships with project team members and members of the leadership team Identify and implement new ePMO process/procedure improvements Manage personal development plan and training What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or related field or an equivalent level of experience Four (4) years of project management experience is required Demonstrated experience with facilitating and managing process improvement and business process redesign is required Demonstrated experience with software related project management activities is required Project Management Certification preferred Experience working in Agile, Scrum and Product Development methodologies preferred Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high energy, team-oriented environment Ability to be pragmatic in applying processes, methods and procedures Ability to interact effectively with team members and vendors who represent a broad spectrum of disciplines Strong interpersonal skills, including communication skills, both verbal and written Critical thinking, ability to challenge others, drive productivity while maintaining strong business relationships Proficient in project management tools, processes and best practices What You'll Get We know that pay and benefits are important.
