Job Description:

The Vice President, Compensation and Benefits is responsible for driving Stellantis' North America (NA) region's total compensation strategy to support the talent management necessary to achieve organizational objectives. Responsible for providing thought leadership and strategic direction on all compensation and benefit programs and offerings for North American employees, including design, development, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of Stellantis' compensation and benefits approach. This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Global Compensation and Benefits and the Head of Human Resources -- North America and will play a key role within the C&B leadership team. Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Lead, manage, and execute on regional compensation and benefits for Stellantis
  • Manages Employee Benefits Committee (EBC) for Stellantis
  • Analyze compensation and benefit programs on an on-going basis (including compensation programs at all levels) relative to market position, internal equity, compliance and compensation philosophy
  • Analyze and research data to track compensation & market competitive information; analysis used to drive key strategic total rewards strategies for NA
  • Provide expertise, counsel and advice on annual and long-term incentive program strategic design and process implementation; ensure designs are globally aligned with business objectives and compensation philosophy
  • Responsible for overall compensation and benefit vendor management which includes annual staggered RFP efforts and adherence to service level agreement milestones
  • Works closely with external consultants to drive long-term strategic change within significant regulatory and financial constraints
  • Partner with key stakeholders such as legal, finance, tax, accounting and external compensation consultants in the successful and efficient implementation and administration of executive compensation plans and programs
  • Manage the executive compensation team and the day to day planning and implementation of the administrative processes and key stakeholder support
  • Counsel executives and other key stakeholders regarding compensation and other benefits
  • Consult with external vendors, actuaries, and stakeholders on plan administration/programs
  • Responsible for making the business case for any change in offerings through review, approval and implementation phases
  • Works closely with the CHRO-North America and SVP Global Compensation & Benefits and independent external compensation consultants, provides information, perspective and subject matter expertise in the area of total reward strategies
  • Responsible for critical annual compensation and benefit activities such as the open enrollment process and the compensation planning process; ensures the organization is fully leveraging its HRIS system's capabilities as appropriate in the compensation and benefits areas The ideal candidate for this position will have significant compensation and benefits knowledge and practical experience. Additionally, exceptional and proven leadership and people managerial skills are essential for this role. Success will be made possible by effectively partnering with other HR functions. Desired outcomes:
    • Execution of Stellantis' regional compensation framework that aligns to global compensation philosophies and guidelines
    • Strong delivery of compensation and benefit strategies aligned with regional synergies and cost savings targets
    • Trusted advisor to the CHRO-North America and SVP Global Compensation & Benefits providing information, perspective and subject matter expertise in the area of total reward strategies providing a competitive advantage within the region
    • Subject matter expert in the area providing analytics on current programs, at all levels, relative to locations we compete Basic Qualifications:
      • 10 years designing and implementing in a compensation and/or benefits function with at least seven years of experience providing leadership and management in the compensation and benefits function
      • Experience collaborating, presenting to and working with executive management
      • Experience evaluating, designing and reviewing executive compensation programs, benefit programs and perquisites
      • Must have demonstrated the ability to influence and inspire others into action
      • Has shown the ability to reduce cost and get things done differently through process efficiencies and automation
      • Demonstrated the ability to transform through disruption and challenging stakeholders to think outside of their comfort zone
      • Demonstrated capabilities around driving inclusive and equitable practices within larger complex organizations Preferred Qualifications:
        • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Management or other related field
        • Master's degree in Human Resources or Business related field
        • Fifteen years of experience working in a client facing human resources role
        • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and/or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) and/or Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP)
