Stellantis's Software Organization (SWx) was established to build the most captivating experiences in the latest frontier of Automotive Technology. As part of that foundation, we are seeking a team leader for Vehicle System Integration as an integral part for our integration, validation and verification organization. The individual should be an experienced technical leader with a strong technical background and project experience in systems engineering and vehicle architecture development. Your primary focus will be to establish and lead a team of system integration engineers that can work laterally and across multiple organizations such as SW design & architecture, virtualization and validation teams. This team will continuously integrate logical functions and features of a system architecture via virtual and physical ECUs, starting early on with high virtualization and integrated in cross-functional agile teams. Based on a V&V framework, your team will demonstrate consistent quality and efficiency of the electrical system architecture and its various vehicle network functions and features. You will provide and report early performance measurements and maturity metrics to upper management and project management, across a portfolio of technology projects. We are looking for a highly motivated leader that is actively seeking to challenge design and logical architecture in the earliest phase driven by a test first/test right now mentality! Beside this proactive test first/test right now, mindset we seek good expertise in the following test levels for vehicle on board/off board systems, Design verification, Architecture verification, Implementation verification, Product validation

Your team will be global and support several Stellantis technology projects and applications utilizing agile methodology. Employee development and satisfaction, work management, process efforts, project workload estimation, training and onboarding will all be part of this lead's responsibility.

Basic Qualifications:

* A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Materials /Chemical/ Civil/ Aerospace/Computer/Computer Science or equivalent) from an ABET accredited university
* 10 years of Team Leadership in systems architecture/vehicle network development and industrialization, minimally on a sub-system domain level
* High understanding of E/E architecture features and functions
* Good knowledge of continuous integration methods and tools
* Good knowledge of agile test methods and test automation
* Experience with complex test environments
* Experience managing global teams
* Experience with planning, status & risk reporting and escalation, prioritization, and global governance
* Budget planning and management
* Strong presentation and communication skills
* Strong foundational experience with Agile, Scrum and DFSS Methodologies
* Outstanding interpersonal and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's or PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering
* Deep technical knowledge of E/E architecture and vehicle networks, their functions and features
* Very good knowledge of state of the art SW development and integration methods, CI/CD and tool chains.
* Deep understanding of automotive testing standards for distributed systems
* Project Experience with methods such as Scrum, SAFe, TDD
* Proven track record in a leadership role for electrical architecture industrialization on sub-system and vehicle level
* Experience with branch strategies & variant management
* Very good people leadership skills -- being able to lead and motivate teams in ambiguous environment and across a portfolio of projects
