Join us on our electrification journey.Position Summary: System Test Manager is an experienced level professional engineer responsible for the coordination of the system test activities to ensure the required test coverage and prove of proper functionality of components (like Power Inverter or Power Control Units) used in powertrain systems under development. Position Responsibilities: --- Responsible for the development and timely execution of the system test and integration plans (DVP, eg. system integration tests, system tests and system acceptance tests) and reporting results to management, the project team, and the customer. --- Ensure all system test activites are executed according the given test processes. --- Lead discussions with the customer to align a DV/PV validation testplan --- Organize and execute system test case reviews. --- Create test metrics and test status reports. --- Be the contact person for system test and validation related topics and questions for the Technical Project Lead, the sub component coordinators and the customer as needed. --- Coordinate the interface with third party test labs where external service providers are used to perform system validation tests for technical questions. --- Collarborate and align with other system partners (e.g. E-Drive or Hybrid Transmission) to ensure a successful integration of the powertrain electronic component into the overall driveline system. --- Responsible for the coordination of testing of interfaces and dependencies between the components (System Integration Test). --- Review, manage, and negotiate customer test and validation requirements and agreements on system test specification in DOORS and obtbtain full test coverage of the system and customer requirements. --- Ensure system test specifications are linked to the system requirements and updated according to the project progress and changes. --- Collaborate with with Technical Project Lead and the engineering project team to achieve release of the system and final product approval. . --- Collaborate with development team to define proper system test cases to test the system requirements, the system architecture and the requirements out of the technical safety concept. --- Collaborate with development team to create the system FMEA and determine significant/critical characteristics and update the FMEA with the test results. --- Responsible for cost and effort estimation for system testing and product validation based on the customer and system requirements in collaboration with the test department manager. --- Identify and develop alternatives to problems and/or schedule delays to resolve and recommend ways to recover lost project time. --- Provide progress status updates including escalation topics to the Technical Project Lead and the Supervisor Electrical Architecture. --- Collaborate with hardware, software and systems engineers in order to implement systems engineering strategies based on V-Model principles.Essential Skills and Experience: --- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis on Systems Engineering, (Master's preferred). --- 5 - 6 years of experience and leading technical projects. --- Strong Knowledge of system level development process. --- Experience and understanding of complex powertrain electronics products on system level --- Experience in performing and moderating reviews --- Knowledge of CAN, LIN and other automotive communication protocols --- Electrical hardware and software knowledge --- Strong knowledge of test methods, test management and the test process --- Knowledge of Functional Safety Standard: ISO-26262 --- Excellent project and planning abilities --- Familiarity with Data Acquisition Systems, Data Analysis, and Data Processing
