What you'll do
The US Delivery Center (USDC) Chief of Staff (COS) is a critical member of the Leadership team across FSS (Advisory, Audit, Consulting and Tax), with significant responsibilities for developing and driving the strategy and plan for growth of our practices aligned to the assigned location. The COS advises and supports multiple stakeholder groups in direct coordination with the Office Managing Director (OMD) and supports the OMD in efforts to effectively manage and communicate internally and externally to the USDC. The COS will facilitate collaboration across the key stakeholder groups, including but not limited to:
USDC Audit, Advisory, Consulting and Tax leadership
Firm and local One Team leadership
Firm Real Estate and Construction teams
Firm and local ITS teams
National Workplace Experience and Security leadership
National Consulting Offering Portfolio/Offering leaders and associated COS teams (Commercial and GPS)
National Learning and Development leadership
National and local Talent teams
Key responsibilities may include:
Facility Management
Lead initiatives related to business continuity and disaster recovery in coordination with national Security and Risk leadership
Liaison/point of contact across Real Estate, Construction and Design for new ground up facility construction and expansion or renovation of current space
Liaise with OMD and One Team to efficiently leverage existing space and build business case for additional space (as required)
Culture
In conjunction with the OMD and appropriate stakeholders, develop and execute strategies to promote culture and community within USDC
Oversee local office Social Impact council and initiatives (community liaison, committee leader) for Impact Day and Impact Every Day initiatives
Oversee DE&I initiatives across the OP's and offerings within the office in coordination with national leadership and initiatives
Conduct assessments of practitioner engagement and sentiment regarding initiatives, events, etc.
Establish and form teams to spearhead culture initiatives
Talent
Support recruiting initiatives for the office across the Operating Portfolios/offerings
Work with leadership and learning and development to determine key training and development needs of the center to support leadership vision
Liaise with Talent on key initiatives to support the wellbeing of practitioners
Support the performance management process
Operations
Forecast growth and seating requirements for the office
Manage annual office culture and DE&I budgets (budget, allocations, spending) in coordination with the USDC FSS leaders
Act as voice of the business in day-to-day operations of the facility in conjunction with One Team, ITS, workplace services, etc.
Manage future hybrid/co-location/Moments that Matter initiatives and activities as directed by national and USDC leadership
Communications
In conjunction with the USDC leadership team, develop and execute a communications strategy to promote transparency and belonging to the practitioners of the offices
Lead the preparation of meeting agendas and materials for various leadership and practice meetings
POC for all critical office communications related to safety and security, office closures, etc.
Point of Contact
Serve as an ambassador of the USDC model in interactions with clients (internal and external)
Act as a proxy/representative for leadership in relevant meetings
Act as a point of contact for the OMD in responding to requests and navigating practitioners to the appropriate point of contact or resources
POC on the business side for the Workplaces services team managing the physical office and admin/One Team support.
US Delivery Center Team
The USDC, a key Strategic Enabler in the Consulting practice, and is comprised of professionals with various areas of focus that collectively provide mission critical services to support Consulting's overall success. The USDC crosses functions across OP/offering, practices representing clients in every industry and sector.
Qualifications
4-7 years of client service experience preferred
Track record of success in delivering large, complex initiatives
Experience working with the ARDC, USI and other Global Delivery Network locations
Knowledge of Facilities Management and Construction
Ability to lead through influence and work successfully with a wide variety of personalities
Understanding of the principles to establish and maintain a healthy work environment and culture
Strong analytical capabilities
Sound decision making in complex situations
Strong oral and written communication skills
Team players with a customer focused mentality
Willingness to dive into detail when needed
