Assumes and maintains responsibility for the administration and
programming of one patient care unit for an 8 hour period or
coordinates and directs the nursing activities for two to four
patient care units for an eight hour period on the assigned shift.
Coordinates and directs the activities of nursing staff including
allocation, assignment and supervision of staff. Thesesupervisors
provide on site clinical consultation, perform patient assessments,
plan and monitor the therapeutic program, provide crisis
intervention, problem solve and conduct staff meetings. Responsible
to the Assistant Director of Nursing and/or Nurse
