Description:M-F 8-5 Hybrid Schedule - In Auburn Hills office 2-3 times per weekCore Role Responsibilities:--- Develop and manage Global Supply Management (GSM) project tracker of actions--- Align to ITI team timing of separation plan--- Align to functional leads separation plans--- Coordinate applications alignment to specific supplier agreements--- Legal Entity (LE) changes, coordinate required actions --- Risk liability, assure tracking and periodic evaluation--- Track progress, and manage GSM inputsSecondary Role Responsibilities:--- Negotiating contracts, where requested, with suppliers to obtain the best prices possible while ensuring that the products and services meet quality standards--- Reviewing bids from suppliers in order to identify price trends or other factors that might influence purchasing decisions--- Developing long-term strategic plans for purchasing activities in order to maintain consistent supply of high-quality products and services at competitive prices--- Reviewing requests for quotes from suppliers to ensure that pricing is competitive and meets company standards--- Evaluating bids based on the supplier's reputation, previous performance, and ability to meet deadlinesl About Aston Carter: Please Note: Scammers are posing as Aston Carter.
