AUTOMATION PROJECT MANAGER JOB PURPOSE:Nikon Metrology is seeking a highly motivated Automation Project Manager to lead the successful execution of cross functional projects critical to aspects of scoping, design, implementation and project flow of new and expanded automation metrology equipment. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:Control of budget, scope, timelines and tasks for Automation projects.Management of costs and ensure projects are completed within time and budget parameters.Identify and develop external resources, suppliers, integrators, partners, contractors to support projects.Support all designs, and drawings of equipment and system configurations.Manage installations and support startups of new projects and ensure it meets project parameters.Research and identify new practices in processes or improvement opportunities. Coordinate training timelines and ensure training program completion.Share best practices to the support team for improved and more efficient implementation on future projects.Develop and present project status reports and updates. Responsible for all technical deliverables.Drive collaboration of cross functional groups, ensuring proper communications channels across all required groups. Define key project metrics to measure performance, speed, quality and costs. ANCILLARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop strong relationships with key strategic partners and customers across all business units. Provide in-house support to customers when quality issues arise.Ability to deal with multiple priorities while working on simultaneous projects.Work efficiently with the different teams in various departments simultaneously.Familiar with Industry 4.0 utilizing PLC, MES/SCADA, sensors and industrial networks. QUALIFICATIONS:ESSENTIALBachelor of Science degree in a technical field + 3 years' project management experience in designing, developing and implementing manufacturing equipment or automation systems. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.Strong organizational skills to optimize project costs, scope and schedules.Knowledge of PLC, HMIPI206335506
