Endpoint Management Tool Engineer
MUST HAVE:
Important: As part of standard Change Management practices, some
work will be required after business hours to support platform
changes. Business hours are listed as 7AM-9PM, or later, to allow
for successful business closure. These changes could be needed 1-2
nights a week; typically no longer than 1-2 hours of work is needed
to complete the change-related work. High priority/impact incidents
could arise outside of standard business hours or during weekends.
These are infrequent but could require action from the
candidate.
An experienced Endpoint Management Tool engineer managing endpoint
solutions for servers and/or workstations .
The candidate should be able to manage users and permissions,
perform core functionality tasks, as well as operations and
management tasks of the platform. Additionally, the candidate
should be able to perform care and feeding of the platform and
basic troubleshooting .
BASIC ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS
Operationalize, administer and maintain the Endpoint Management
tool Adjust administrative settings of the platform Manage user,
user groups, computer groups and action groups Articulate
enhancements of the Endpoint Management Tool platform to team
leadership Identify/Perform health checks
CONTENT MANAGEMENT
Manage platform, modules, content solutions Identify operational
improvements that can be made throughout the solution Identify
security improvements that can be made throughout the platform
Identify opportunities to get greater value from the solution
TROUBLESHOOTING
Collect necessary health information to facilitate triage Actively
patriciate in ongoing incidents and request s related to the
platform Troubleshoot and gather support logs Troubleshoot platform
connectivity issues Troubleshot user access functionality
PLATFORM MAINTENCE AND OPERATIONS
Perform preventative maintenance tasks Perform optimizations tasks
to ensure efficient operation of the platform Document best
practices and playbooks as required Work closely with the team to
improve the Endpoint Management Tool operational status
