Working out of Gemini Group's Auburn Hills office, the Director of Sales - GPMI will work closely with the Director of Gemini Group Sales and Marketing to create and execute sales strategies resulting in profitable sales growth. The ideal candidate is proactive, polished, and comfortable in the boardroom and on the manufacturing floor.

What winning looks like:

  • Achieving annual goals for profitable sales awards; developing successful capture strategies - to secure contracts
  • Establishing the vision and strategies for current and new product opportunities within our core strengths, capitalizing on our current centers of excellence
  • Being great at developing relationships with key contacts within multiple markets including forge tooling, oil and gas, pump and valve and machinery manufacturers
  • Providing healthy accountability to the sales team
  • Knowing the right way to on-board and let-go team members
  • Working closely with leadership to identify sales expansion opportunities and to resolve any technical or contract issues with existing customers
  • Driving creative technical solutions with the internal team to ensure manufacturing strategy alignment, maximize efficiencies and ensure competitive quotes
  • Negotiating complex contract terms consistent with above-mentioned sectors while ensuring a progressive relationship
    Skills needed to win:
    • Minimum of seven (7) years of sales leadership experience with CNC machined products along with working knowledge of secondary processes
    • Four (4) year degree in business and/or engineering related field. MBA a plus
    • Willingness to travel throughout North America, up to 30% of the time and on short notice
    • Proficient with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite
