Job Description & Requirements Emergency Room Nurse - Emergency Nurse - (ER RN) StartDate: 01/25/2021Available Shifts: 12 N, 12 E Pay Rate: $4575.00 - 5043.00 Common Diagnosis/Treatment: wide variety of trauma with high volume of penetrating trauma, stroke, sepsis, DKA, CHF, COPD. of Beds: 78 Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:4 in TCU (ESI 1-2) 1:6 in main treatment areas (mixed acuity ESI 2-3). Charting: Cerner Scrub Color: Navy blue Areas of Float Support: Treatment areas within ED: triage, trauma, A & B team (main treatment areas mixed acuity ESI 2-3), TCU (high acuity ESI 1-2), express care (16 bed ED fast-track). Preferred ability to float to ICU and tele floors if needed. Special Procedures: massive transfusion protocol, independent care of vasoactive drips and medication titration. Care for ventilated patients. Required Qualifications BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI (can be online version, only $130), NIHSS Strong level 2 experience high acuity/fast paced Facility Accepting Crisis License Preferred Qualifications Previous Travel Cerner experience Facility Location Famous for its music, automotive industry and urban landscape, Detroit is a fascinating city begging to be explored.
