Detroit Medical Center and University Pediatricians are actively seeking a Pediatric PM&R physician to join The Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Children's Hospital of Michigan. We specialize in the rehabilitation and medical management of children with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neuromuscular disorders, and musculoskeletal conditions. Academic opportunities available as medical students, residents, and fellows rotate through the department. The physicians on staff provide evaluations and continuity care to patients in the outpatient clinic setting including the Myelomeningocele/Spinal cord injury clinic, MDA clinic, Developmental Assessment Clinic, inpatient consultations, and on the inpatient rehabilitation unit. Physicians also participate on the trauma team. They also collaborate with neurosurgery, neurology, orthopedics, and genetics on a regular basis. Physicians provide alcohol blocks, botulinum toxin injections, and an intrathecal baclofen pump program. DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan is the first and largest children's hospital in the state.
