AnthroMed Education is expanding our team of Social Workers and Mental Health providers who support our students throughout the state of Michigan, and we want you to be a part of our team!
We are currently hiring a social worker for one of our amazing charter school partners. This position is - in one building, with super supportive leadership! You would be working with GenEd and SPED students. -

Position Title: -School Social Worker
Grade Level: K-8th Grade
Compensation: - Full Salary paid weekly (school year salary or -52 week salary!) $55,000 - $70,000 based on experience

Support: - AnthroMed Education has a wonderful LCSW Director of our Social Work services offering LCSW Supervision on dedicated caseload support through the school year. -
School Social Worker Requirements:

• 
  
• 
  Master's (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
  
  
• 
  LMSW license eligible in the State of Michigan
  
  
• 
  School Social Work Approval Form (ss310).
  
  
• 
  Preferred experience in a K-12 setting
  
  
  
  School Social Worker Duties:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Support Tier 1 and Tier 2 interventions and push into classrooms to promote Social and Emotional Learning
    
    
  • 
    Create lesson plans for SEL learning and other interventions by partnering with teachers.
    
    
  • 
    Promote a school climate and culture conducive to student learning. Utilize effective practices that provide for safe environments and supportive relationships.
    
    
  • 
    Create IEPs, FBAs/BIPs
    
    
  • 
    Provide advocacy, child welfare, and case management services to students.
    
    
  • 
    Assess, identify and provide clinical interventions to students with emotional, social, attendance and/or behavioral concerns within the general education population.
    
    
  • 
    Perform consultations with classroom teachers and be a resource for school site personnel on mental health and social/emotional issues that may affect classroom performance.
    
    
  • 
    Coordinate, develop and facilitate professional development for teachers, staff and administrators in the area of social/emotional learning, self-care and trauma sensitive schools.
