American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT)
certification, 2 years of experience, and the ability to work
midnight shifts at a Level I Trauma Center. Responsibilities -
Position is based in a hospital radiology department with potential
to float to a nearby sister hospital - Level I Trauma Center
environment with exposure to high acuity cases - Work with both
fixed CT units and may also work in a mobile ambulatory unit -
Midnight shift with hours between 6:00pm and 6:00am, every other
weekend required - Flexible scheduling available with 8, 10, or
12-hour shifts - No block scheduling or on-call requirements - PACS
and RIS used for image management and study tracking - Performs CT
scans and general diagnostic radiology procedures under general
supervision - Prepares patients for procedures, explains exam
steps, and obtains relevant medical history - Administers IV
contrast media and monitors for potential reactions - Assists
radiologists with complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as
biopsies - Ensures documentation and study completion in PACS and
RIS systems - Demonstrates strong communication, teamwork, and
customer service skills - Applicants may be exposed to radiation
and contagious patients; must follow safety protocols - COVID-19
vaccination is required - Must successfully complete background
check and drug screening per strict deadlines Requirements -
Current ARRT (CT) certification and AHA BLS required - Active
Michigan license required for consideration; license required if
applicable - Minimum of 2 years CT technologist experience required
- High school diploma or GED required - Must complete and pass
online modules prior to start - Ability to lift/move equipment and
