Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a
Labor & Delivery position in Michigan, requiring a MI RN license,
BLS, NRP, and proficiency in labor, postpartum, and special care.
Responsibilities - Hospital-based Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and
Special Care setting - Night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am, three
12-hour shifts per week - Must work every other weekend - Cerner
EMR experience required - Travelers may be required to float to a
nearby sister hospital - No blocked scheduling permitted -
Responsible for leadership in the coordination and delivery of
compassionate patient care, including assessment, planning,
implementation, and evaluation - Must complete onsite online
modules and receive a passing score prior to start, typically one
week before assignment begins - Must complete compliance
requirements and drug screening within prescribed timeframes to
avoid a delayed start date - Request for time off must be submitted
in advance; any additional requests after offer are subject to
management approval Requirements - Active MI RN license required -
BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required - Graduation from an
accredited school of nursing is required - Minimum of 3 years of
L&D experience required - At least 1 year of Cerner EMR
experience required - COVID vaccination is mandatory Benefits -
