Job Description:

A hospital system in Detroit, MI is seeking a Board-Certified CRNA to provide locum coverage for a leave of absence beginning January 2026. The assignment involves working within a supervision model across two surgery centers. The provider must be comfortable handling pediatric cases, in addition to general surgical anesthesia. Local candidates are highly preferred, though travel providers will be considered if costs are included in the capped rate. Job Responsibilities: Provide anesthesia care for general surgical cases, including adult and pediatric patients (excluding neonates). Perform general anesthesia and IV sedation for specialties such as plastics, ENT, orthopedics, podiatry, and robotic surgery. Participate in pain management cases (0–10 daily). Work under a supervision model with a team that includes an MDA, surgeons, RNs, scrub techs, and sometimes residents. Document care accurately within the Cerner EMR system. Rotate coverage between two surgery centers, with most days scheduled at the primary 12 Mile location.
