Job Description:
We are seeking a Locum Tenens OB Hospitalist in Michigan. Locum
Tenens OB Hospitalist Position Type: Specialty: Physician -
Hospitalist - OB Location: Michigan Rate: Open & Negotiable Shift:
24-hour shifts; 7 10 shifts/month Start Date: 8/1/2025 End Date:
3/31/2026 Position Details: Patient Population: Obstetric patients,
including high-risk and low-risk pregnancies Setting: In-House
Labor and Delivery Unit with designated call room Responsibilities:
Labor & delivery coverage, including ER consults, OB/GYN
procedures, and emergency response Required Procedures: Low & High
Risk Pregnancy Management OB Ultrasounds (Level I & II)
Amniocentesis Vaginal Deliveries, Forceps Deliveries, C-Sections,
VBACs Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations Office and Surgical
Gynecology (IUD, Colposcopy, Cystoscopy, LEEP, Tubal Ligation,
Ectopic Pregnancy, etc.) EMR System: Epic Support Staff: RNs,
Residents (no APPs; CNMs cover Monday PM) Days Per Month: 7 10
On-Call/Weekends: In-house shifts; includes weekdays and weekends
Submission Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible REQUIRED
Michigan State License HIGHLY PREFERRED BLS Certification REQUIRED
Ability to perform full scope of OB Hospitalist procedures REQUIRED
