Registered Nurse (RN) | Postpartum Location: Detroit, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,130 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: 1/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Registered Nurse Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of postpartum experience required. High-risk experience preferred. License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing. Certifications: BLS certification required. Neonatal resuscitation certification required. Must-Have: Postpartum experience. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare personnel. Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of those solutions. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:2.5 for couplets. In busy or short-staffed situations, the ratio may be 1:8 or 1:4 for couplets. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities are necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department.
