Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time
occupational therapist position is available to support a K-12
school in Detroit, MI. This contract role is ideal for an OT
skilled in school-based therapy, committed to providing focused
services to a diverse student caseload. The assignment runs through
the current school year, ending on June 12, 2025, with a flexible
schedule to accommodate comp time requirements. Key
Responsibilities: - Provide occupational therapy services to
approximately 10 students across grades K-12. - Develop and
implement individualized therapy plans based on students' needs. -
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support
student progress. - Maintain detailed documentation and comply with
school and regulatory standards. - Coordinate caseload management
to efficiently cover required therapy hours. Qualifications and
Experience: - Valid occupational therapy license. - Experience
working as an OT in school settings, preferably with K-12
populations. - Strong understanding of developmental and
educational therapy techniques. - Ability to manage a caseload with
effective time and organizational skills. - Excellent communication
and teamwork skills. Work Schedule: - One day per week, 7.5 hours
(8:00 AM to 3:30 PM). - Initial period may require additional hours
to complete comp time. This role offers the opportunity to make a
