Contract - Unit: LDRPN (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum,
Nursery) - Start Date: January 12, 2026 - End Date: April 11, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour
rotating night shifts, every other weekend required) - Shifts per
Week: 3 shifts - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week - Estimated
Weekly Salary Range: $2020 - $2070 Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience - At
least 1 year of experience with Cerner EMR - Proficiency in labor,
postpartum, and special care nursing - Graduate of an accredited
school of nursing - Active Michigan RN license - BLS (Basic Life
Support) certification - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
certification - Strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills Labor & Delivery
Nurse Responsibilities - Provide high-quality, compassionate care
to patients in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Special Care units
- Apply the nursing process for patient assessment, planning,
implementation, and evaluation - Delegate, supervise, and document
patient care and education for families - Communicate essential
patient and family information to the healthcare team - Participate
in clinical problem-solving and implement solutions for patient
care variances - Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR
