Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A healthcare facility in Oakland, CA is seeking two skilled Radiotherapy Technologists for a 13-week contract to support the Radiation Oncology department. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday with an early day shift start time between 7:00 and 8:00 AM. Selected candidates will play an essential role in accurately delivering radiation therapy treatments to patients. Key Responsibilities: Set up and align patients using various imaging techniques to deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments Assess patient status during direct interaction and refer to the healthcare team as appropriate Prepare for treatment delivery including chart and film checks, room set-up, calculations, and electronic medical record verification Perform patient set-up and CT scans for radiation therapy planning as needed Collaborate closely with other radiation therapists and team members to complete additional departmental tasks Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in Radiation Oncology Proficient with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ systems preferred Valid ARRT and California RTT licenses required Current BLS certification required Location Overview:Oakland, CA is a vibrant, diverse city located on the eastern shore of San Francisco Bay. Additional Information:This contract includes up to 36 hours of on-call time at no cost to the facility throughout the assignment.
