Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in specialty applying
for prior to travel assignments License: Permanent license required
Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Must-Have: 18 months of recent Neuro Stepdown experience will
suffice. Permanent Ohio license or compact state license is
required. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. ECG
rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment must be
completed during orientation with acceptable scores. Description:
This position is for a registered nurse specializing in neuro
stepdown care. The nurse will work the night shift, primarily from
7 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must possess at least 18 months of
experience in the Neuro Stepdown specialty. Recent experience in
travel nursing is accepted. PCU/Progressive care experience is
preferred, but not required. Active certifications in BLS, ACLS,
and NIHSS are mandatory. Additional assessments must be passed
during orientation. All references must be from a supervisory
position in the specialty. Candidates with background checks will
be reviewed accordingly. Nurses and CSTs are exempt from
nicotine-free facility requirements temporarily. All other
travelers must be nicotine-free with a negative drug screen
conducted within 12 months of the start. Professional conduct is
expected throughout the application and assignment processes.
