Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Detroit, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,908 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/19/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: - Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days (2 Positions) Hours per Shift: 12 (6:30 am - 7:00 pm) Experience: Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience License: Current License - Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan Certifications: Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care, BLS Must-Have: Good communication skills Organizational skills Description: Under general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, delivers life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients. Performs invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures to Intensive Care and General Practice Unit patients. Maintains clinical expertise for departmental assignments throughout various business units, as assigned. Communicates effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other system employees regarding patient care needs. Adequately documents all aspects of patient care. Supervises, directs, and delegates to Respiratory Therapists, Respiratory orients, externs, and students, as assigned. Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information. Will work in either Adult ICU or Neonatal ICU. ICU workers with only long-term care facility experience are not eligible for this position.
