registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. Deliver specialized nursing care to patients with
complex cardiac conditions in a stepdown unit setting. This
contract opportunity offers the chance to work with advanced heart
failure, pulmonary hypertension, dysrhythmias, and patients
requiring implantable devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators,
and Ventricular Assistive Devices (VAD). The role also involves
care of patients pre- and post-procedures including cardiac
catheterization, ablation, and chemical cardioversion with
anti-dysrhythmic medications. Key Responsibilities: Provide skilled
nursing care to patients with advanced cardiac conditions in a
stepdown environment. Monitor and manage electrolyte imbalanced
dysrhythmias, tachy-brady syndromes, and complex cardiac rhythms.
Support patients awaiting heart transplants and those with
implantable cardiac devices. Assist in pre- and post-procedure care
for cardiac catheterization, ablation, and medication
administration. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure
comprehensive patient care. Serve as a resource in hospitalist
service backup, contributing to general medical-surgical patient
care as needed. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Active RN
license with stepdown or cardiac nursing experience. Strong
knowledge of cardiac diseases and interventions including heart
failure and arrhythmias. Familiarity with care protocols for
patients with pacemakers, defibrillators, and VADs. Ability to
deliver critical care in a fast-paced environment. Excellent
