Job Description Job Description Position Title : Sleep Technologist RPSGT - DRH Location : Detroit Receiving Hospital, Detroit, MI Employment Type : Full-Time, Night Shift Company : Forward Labs Overview : Join Forward Labs as a Sleep Technologist and make a meaningful impact by providing compassionate care to patients with sleep apnea in an acute care setting. Be part of a dynamic team dedicated to improving lives through quality care and cutting-edge sleep solutions. Key Responsibilities : Educate patients on treatment purposes, procedures, and equipment. Configure BiPAP and CPAP machines to prescribed settings. Fit and maintain masks, ensuring proper care and functionality. Monitor and report patient machine usage to insurance providers. Communicate patient feedback effectively to relevant departments. Interpret various forms of communication (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening, visual). Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently with attention to detail. Work independently and collaboratively within a team. Minimum Requirements : Associate degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program. Valid Registered Sleep Polysomnographic Technologist or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist certification. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and webcam-based communication. Excellent customer service skills. Employment Contingencies : Successful background check. Negative drug screening. Valid driver’s license. Healthcare Exclusion verification. Compensation & Benefits : Pay Range : $28-37/hour , based on experience.
