Registered Nurse (RN) | Correctional Location: Grafton, OH Agency: 22nd Century Healthcare, Inc. Pay: $48 to $54 per hour Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 5 Days Start Date: ASAP About the Position Registered Nurse (RN – General, Dialysis, Mental Health) – Location: Grafton, OH 44044 Hours: 40 hours per week Duration: Minimum 3 months (with potential extension) Schedule: Must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekdays and weekends as needed Position Summary Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide comprehensive nursing care in a structured healthcare setting. The RN will deliver direct patient care, manage acute and chronic conditions, respond to emergencies, and support interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Key Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care to patients in a facility setting Observe, assess, and document patient symptoms, reactions, and progress Conduct nursing rounds and monitor vital signs Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and immunizations Respond to medical emergencies and participate in code response teams Develop and implement individualized care plans Perform specialized procedures as needed, including: IV therapy Dialysis Wound care Oxygen therapy Blood transfusions Tube feeding Catheterization Suctioning Phlebotomy CPR Maintain accurate documentation of medications, treatments, and patient status Monitor and manage controlled medications and inventory Assist physicians with patient evaluations Participate in staff training, orientation, and quality improvement activities May provide guidance or supervision to LPNs and support staff as assigned Requirements Required Qualifications Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) Current BLS/CPR certification Ability to work in a secure and structured environment Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills
