Pay: $2,100 to $2,300 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job details: Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Detroit, MI Shift: Days 6:30 pm - 7:00 am (3x12/hr) Duration: 26 weeks Job Duties: Provide life-support care, oxygen therapy, and resuscitation to patients. Perform invasive and non-invasive respiratory diagnostic procedures in ICU and general units. Monitor patients’ respiratory status and respond to emergencies as needed. Accurately document patient care and complete billing information. Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients, and supervise students or junior staff when assigned. Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist. NICU experience required (must be current or within the last year). Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program (Bachelor’s preferred). Registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) . Current Michigan Respiratory Therapist License and BLS certification required. Experience with Cerner , High Frequency Oscillating Ventilator, and Servo I & U preferred
